According to the front page of the BBC Snoop's new song with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is getting a lot of spins in Indian clubs. The song, "Singh is Kinng," is from the eponymous romantic comedy that spotlights Sikh, as opposed to Punjab, culture--a rare thing in Bollywood movies, apparently. (One review compares the Sikhs to Texans, go fig.)
I think Snoop's a little ridiculous, to be honest, so I'm a little relieved whenever I see him in roles where I'm asked not to take him seriously. Case in point.
